Chernor Musa Kabia is the visionary founder and CEO of Kabia Farm, a leading force in promoting sustainable agricultural development across Africa. Born and raised in Sierra Leone, Chernor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. His passion for transforming African agriculture has driven him to pioneer innovative solutions that empower local farmers and attract investment into mechanized, sustainable farming practices.
In 2018 & 2019, Chernor was recognized as one of the most viable and influential figures in Sierra Leone’s agricultural sector, highlighting his significant contributions to agricultural development and his commitment to fostering sustainable growth.
Through Kabia Farm, Chernor has formed strategic partnerships to maximize agricultural productivity in the region. Notably, his collaboration with Sakata Seeds has enabled farmers in Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Ghana to significantly increase their yields across various agricultural produces. This partnership has empowered farmers to produce more efficiently and profitably, improving food security and livelihoods in these countries.Before relocating to the United States, Chernor dedicated himself to advancing agricultural initiatives across Africa. His efforts culminated in a strategic partnership with Tarzan Ag, based in Arkansas, where he helped develop a successful model of mechanized agriculture tailored for the African context. Through this collaboration, he continues to enable African farmers and investors to access modern, efficient farming techniques—bringing the “Arkansas way” of agriculture to the continent.
